Creating a New Case

Creating cases is as easy as filling out a web form. Be sure that you have an account and are logged in, and that you have some studies in the DICOM Queue or images ready for uploading. MyPACS has two case creation forms, a Tabs-Based Editor and a Non-Javascript Editor. The Tabs-Based Editor is only available for users running Internet Explorer for their web browser. If you use Netscape, Mozilla, or have disabled the use of Javascript in your browser properties then you will use the Non-Javascript Editor.

  1. Click on the Cases tab to visit the Case Manager, then click on "Create New Case" to the right of the "My Cases" section header.

  2. This will bring you to one of the two case editor forms, both consist of structured fields for entering case text and metadata.
